Choosing the right servo: for steering, look for around 30kg‑cm to 70kg‑cm+ torque and strong centring. If you run heavy wheels or an aggressive setup, aim higher. Throttle/brake positions typically need less torque but benefit from quick transit speed. Check voltage too: many large scale servos are HV and happy at 7.4V to 8.4V from a 2S LiPo or BEC. Confirm physical dimensions and spline compatibility with your horn/servo saver before ordering, and consider upgrading to a heavy‑duty alloy horn for maximum control. Waterproof or water‑resistant models are recommended for year‑round UK use.
