The Tamiya TT-02 Diff Lock Block (HC-54649) is a lightweight, precision aluminium hop-up designed to be used in place of the kit-standard gear differential to create a locked differential effect. This reduces slippage to help maximise drive, giving a tangible benefit when launching from the start and powering out of corners.

For drift-oriented builds, installing the block in the rear helps the car attain the correct posture, making slides more stable and predictable.
